BIO Zac Young (born 13 May 1988) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, poet, and novelist
from Columbus, Georgia. Mostly known for his music from his wild band Stereomonster. Young's first
album was Ultrasound (2009)) followed The Love Palace (2011) and And the Kids Go Crazy (2012).
Young's debut novel God's in the Water was released in December (2014).
Author Zac Young's debut novel tells the story of a touring independent musician who drunkenly
discovers a jukebox in a dive bar on the outskirts of Macon. But this is no ordinary jukebox and no
ordinary bar. The jukebox seems to foreshadow the young musician's every thought, satirically
tormenting his intoxicated mind while at The Bar where he meets an eclectic group of strangers who all
have drastically different backgrounds, incomes, and lifestyles: Snow, an erotic bartender; Mo, an
absurd lunatic; Lou, a preacher; Spook, the down-and-out regular; and Red, a bizarre biker. These six
patrons indulge in a rambunctious mix of euphoria, drugs, and alcohol. What could possibly go wrong?
